Andrew Swartz, Of Council
Since November 1973, Mr Swartz has specialized in civil litigation with over 15 civil jury trials , 100 civil court trials and 100 or more arbitrations for both plaintiff and defense. Several million dollar verdicts or settlements. In early 1980s served as Chairperson of the State of California Committee on Professional Responsibility and Conduct also known as the State Ethics committee on which I served for five years. Appointed by Superior Court of Monterey County as Mediator, Receiver and Discovery Referee. Have received numerous awards including by readers of the Carmel Pine Cone “Best Attorney if You need to sue somebody” (or if you are being sued) seven years in a row. Also awarded the prestigious Lewis L Fenton Award for Excellence in Advocacy. I am and have been for five decades AV rated by Martindale Hubbell.
